Font design inspired by a beautiful place in New Zealand. The idea came from a range of stimulus in “the Naki”. The crisp cold mountain streams, the sharp bright summer light, the contrast of the bold dark Mt Taranaki shooting into the sky against Len Lye’s spindly Wind Wand undulating to and fro in the sea breeze.

Branding and website for a private investigator. Designed on a tight budget for a start up business to look professional and discreet whilst reassuringly local. A range of logos and branded stationary were presented to the client to pick from, the chosen brand was then applied to a simple website.

Logo created in Illustrator and applied to an existing web template using HTML & CSS. A little Javascript was then added to give a smoother feel to the menu. Business cards created in InDesign.

Two websites designed for New Zealand Honda franchises. The two companies wanted websites that looked similar but distinguished to present their products and services to a market of boisterous kiwi lads. The design aims to communicate the excitement and adrenaline in tearing around the countryside on a Honda whilst reinforcing the brands colour palette. The headers and flash banners differ to reflect the two target markets.

I designed and built this site for a new Taranaki venture. To attract stag parties and holiday makers, the design aims to give people a taste of Taranaki bush (…sans innuendo) with a light hearted fun depiction of the scenery and wildlife available to hunt. I created an infinite footer in illustrator elements from the logo to give a nice Taranaki vista.

Created using Photoshop and Illustrator, then hand coded with HTML, Javascript & CSS. It also uses the typographical delights of @font-face

This is just an initial concept for a Deadmau5 t-shirt series for Dirty Smart clothing. Unfortunately the Mau5’s manager wasn’t nibbling the cheese… I like it though!

Created on a piece of paper and spruced up in Illustrator ready for screen printing.

Concept for pod hotel accommodation at festivals. Initiated by an idea I had working at festivals around the UK selling camping equipment. The amount of ill-prepared people I encountered, and having witnessed the quantity of discarded tents dumped after the event, led me to this solution. Branding, website and promotional banners created at University of Plymouth.

A project to raise awareness about the wrongful classification of drugs in the UK aiming to inform young recreational drug takers of the relative risks individual drugs pose. This would lead to individuals making wiser, more informed decision’s and minimise potential risk. Each drug was given a score from 0-3 (with 3 indicating the largest risk) taken from a survey by the home offices Advisory Council on the Misuse of Controlled Drugs.
